We have had decent weather for about two days here in Scotland and i already have 15 midge bites!

I get covered in them. My record is 39. They just bloody love me.

Thank goodness for Aloe Vera gel!

I’ve had my first vegetarian mistake. I was in a restaurant and ordering a dessert which I didn’t realise had jelly in it. I unfortunately didn’t notice the jelly until i had a mouthful! I swapped desserts with my husband but didn’t eat his dessert either. It was mainly cream and i detest cream.

It’s made slightly worse as it was an older vegetarian that told me i’d like the dessert that i’d never had before and i was leaning towards other things i thought would be safer.

Luckily nobody really seemed to notice but i was embarrassed and it’s really upset me. :(

In the process of attempting to make a little out fit for my DC Douglas. The top seems to be going well so far, I’ve reached the sleeves; now to machine sew or hand sew…

Hand stitch if the seam is tiny! If the seem is wee it might get sucked into the machine.

Thank you! I hand stitched the shoulder seams, they wouldn’t go flat in the machine, the rest is looking grate so far :D I need to re draft the pattern for his little shorts. 

Please tell me they have tiny turn ups??? :D

I have been terrible lazy and busy since i came back from my holiday.

Here is a summery of life:

• Had an amazing wedding!
• Had a good holiday.
• Came home from holiday and got offered a job the day after.
• Been working in this job for almost two weeks, and i utterly adore it. I work with fabric and crafty things now!
• Got my wedding photos and will share a few after my family/friends have all seen them.
• I need to work on my exercises/ect as I’ve fallen out of doing anything regularly because of moving/wedding/holiday/new job/life. Looking for inspiring ideas because my backs getting jacked again!

This was a thing i saw outside a cafe down in England when i was on holiday… there was also a homeless looking electronic dummy reading a children’s story rocking in a chair and another tree on the other side, but if i took a photo of them I’d have  been creeping on a load of kids.

But seriously. What is this even?
